Deep Cuts 3: final panel confirmed for November 20th
Frank Lebon and Matt Prickett have been confirmed as panellists for Deep Cuts 3, the event celebrating the work of the editor and the art of editing in the medium of music videos, being held next Wednesday, November 20th.
Frank Lebon has emerged in the past couple of years as one of the most exciting new directors working in music videos. His video for A$AP Rocky's Sundress won the award for Best Urban Video International at this year's UKMVAs, and he was also nominated for both Best Editing, for James Blake's Can't Believe The Way We Flow, and Best Director.
Matt Prickett began his commercial editing career in Miami, before moving back to his native England and establishing himself as an editor at Cut+Run London. Matt’s love for music encouraged him to work on music videos alongside commercials. He has cut promos for artists such as Tom Walker and Grace Carter, and his 2019 video for Swim Deep's To Feel Good was nominated for Best Alternative Newcomer at the UKMVAs.
They join editors Anne Perri (Work Editorial) and Liam Bachler (Tenthree) on the panel for the third annual Deep Cuts, presented by Cut+Run and the UK Music Video Awards as part of C+R's ongoing partnership with the UKMVAs. The event is hosted by Cut+Run's Martin Macnamara, and takes place on November 20th, from 6.30pm, at the Cut+Run London offices in Wardour Street, Soho.
Tickets are available for Deep Cuts 3 from the Eventbrite page. All proceeds for the event are being donated to War Child.
