UK Music Video Awards 2019: LEAP sponsors Best Production Company at UKMVAs
LEAP are returning as post-production partner of the UK Music Video Awards and have been announced as sponsors of the prestigious Best Production Company award at this year's UKMVAs on October 23rd.
The moving image team at LEAP have been the post-production partner of the UKMVAs since the inaugural year of 2008. When it all started, LEAP’s film and post team were known as Locomotion and were based in Soho. Building on their proud heritage, LEAP have now created a Soho-style production and post boutique in the heart of Clerkenwell, and LEAP continue their UKMVA partnership from their new facilities at Hayward’s Place.
LEAP’s moving image team provide full-service production from creative development and filming, to editing, CGI, VFX, high-end finishing and grading through to delivery to media platforms. Their new facilities further extend their services to include green screen studio space, voice over recording and broadcast audio production.
LEAP’s motion graphics editors will work closely with the UKMVA’s event director Louise Stevens to create the video packages for more than 30 categories, and animate the visual stings which will appear across the screens all night.
Danny Coster, Creative Director says: “Music videos allow so much opportunity to stretch the limits of creative and technical possibilities, both in production and post, so we’re proud to sponsor the Best Production Company category and celebrate brilliant music film making.”
He adds: “We are proud to have been the UKMVA’s post-production partner for more than ten years. We always enjoy the creative collaboration with Louise Stevens, David Knight and the extended UKMVA team. As ever, we are looking forward to celebrating with the talented filmmakers working in music videos at this year’s awards.”
Backstage interviews with many of the winners at the UK Music Video Awards 2017, held at The Roundhouse in London last month, are now up on the UKMVAs YouTube channel.
