Park Village expands roster by signing Sil and Jorik, Elliot Simpson and Jared Knecht

Park Village have signed three new directors to expand their commercials and music video roster: Jared Knecht, Elliot Simpson and Sil and Jorik.

Dutch directors Sil van der Woerd and Jorik Dozy (above) started to co-direct in 2017, combining exotic locations, stunning cinematography and high-end visual effects in their music videos and short films, telling heartfelt stories that, more often than not, touch on ecological and humanitarian issues.

In 2018 alone their work received 28 awards for Novo Amor's Birthplace (above), including Best Music Video at the Camerimage Festival. Coming from a VFX background their work combines vision and craftsmanship with integrity and tenacity. The release of their stunning double music video, Sleepless / Repeat Until Death, for artist and regular collaborator Novo Amor, coincides with the news that they are joining Park Village for representation across music videos, content and commercials. Jared Knecht is a multidisciplinary director, writer and cinematographer, originally from Youngstown, OH. A self-taught filmmaker, Jared moved to New York and moved up through the ranks. He’s recently directed spots for Toyota, RIMOWA, Adidas, Google and others. Tribeca Film Festival’s “See Yourselves in Others” campaign was featured in the New York Times and received Creativity's Pick of the Day. In 2018 Jared was awarded the YDA award for his film ‘I Got This’ for Face The Music. Watch his reel here

A born and bred Londoner, Elliot Simpson has directed videos for Sinead Harnett, The Manor and James Smith. The energy of his work, his background in editing and post-production, and a strong use of choreography has led to several successful collaborations with Adidas and Puma.

Elliot is also an accomplished photographer capturing Skepta, Stormzy, Idris Elba, Mike Skinner, Chipmunk, Chase & Status, Gorgon City and Rita Ora for artist and brand campaigns for Beats By Dre, Adidas, Converse, Nike, Vans, and Vogue. He says: “I always want the films or images I make to feel authentic, to feel real or a true reflection of the culture or emotion I’m trying to capture.” Watch his reel here
