The second Shiny Awards, which honours the best emerging talent in music videos, takes place next Tuesday, 26th February, with eight 'Shinys' being handed out to the winners at the event. Tickets are on sale to the event at The Mill in London. 

Shiny is a network connecting emerging directors and over 60 world-class brands, agencies & production companies, including Havas, M&C Saatchi, CANADA, Rattling Stick, Partizan, Stink and Caviar. This year's awards attracted over 370 entries globally - judged by representatives of top agencies and production companies in the Shiny network. Last year's winners included Nadia Lee Cohen at Academy Films and Fanny Hoetzeneder at Knucklehead.

All genres from emerging directors - either unsigned or recently signed - were accepted into the competition, and this year's entries encompassed ethical porn, documentary about a gun-toting child, social influencers with attitude, pre-teen rock videos, and animated barbies (again). Directors are flying in from Los Angeles, New York, Sydney, Berlin and Warsaw.
