UK Music Video Awards 2018: MVA Jury Members begin voting in first round online judging
Judging for the UK Music Video Awards 2018 is now under way in most categories at this year's awards, with judging opening in more categories opening tomorrow (August 23rd).
The online platform has opened for all the entries in the music genre, live, and technical achievement awards, with invitations sent out to hundreds of music video professionals to become MVA Jury Members, and judge one or more of the categories.
Using the login details that the Jury Members have been sent by email, they can enter the judging platform at the UK Music Video Awards website, view the entries in that category, and make their selections - usually six entries, sometimes more in some categories. Jury Members are also being asked to place their choices in order of preference.
These votes will determine who makes it to the second round of voting next month, when panels will meet to decide the shortlists for this year's UKMVAs. The first round voting must end of September 3rd in most of these categories.
First round judging for the individual and production company award categories is open from tomorrow, Thursday, August 23rd. These are open for all Jury Members via the online platform. Judging in these categories will run until September 13th.
Following the second round of judging in September, nominations for the UK Music Video Awards 2018 will be announced on September 27th at the UKMVAs nominations party at The Mill.
Then the 10th anniversary UKMVAs takes place for the first time at the legendary Roundhouse in London on Thursday, October 25th. More ticket information coming shortly.
