Directing and music-making collective Youth Hymns have joined Dirty Films' directors roster for music videos and commercials.

The directing trio of Jake, Johnny and Jolyon have brought their distinctive directing style - lo-fi, multi-fomrat, colour-saturated and cartoonish - to bear on numerous videos in the past three years for the likes of Slaves, Wolf Alice, Vant, Girli, Cash+David, Ladyhawke and Armin Celkin ft Snoop Dogg.

Their commercial work includes the recent VHS-shot ad for Nike Air Max 2018, and the excellent short film Facefixx, premiered on Nowness.

"Youth Hymns are proud ambassadors of a WTF, graphical, hyper-saturated and tactile style, creating their own gloriously raw and unique visual universe," say Dirty. "What makes Youth Hymns Dirty isn’t just their distinctive other-worldly style, their punchy colours or their magnificent heads of hair, but rather their raw, honest and fierce attitude to filmmaking - putting them in one of the freshest, Dirtiest boxes in town.
