Award-winning New York-based directing duo rubberband. have signed to Moxie Pictures for UK commercial and music video representation.
Rubberband - aka Jason Sondock and Simon Davis – have established a reputation for their cool aesthetic and understated use of visual effects in their commercial, fashion film and music video work. Commercial and fashion film collaborations include work for UnderArmour, American Eagle, MOMA, Raf Simons and Alexander Wang. Their music video output includes films for LCD Soundsystem, Lewis Del Mar and Dej Loaf. And the duo recently received Vimeo Staff Pick for their work on Goldlink’s “And After That, We Didn’t Talk” album launch campaign.
Sondock and Davis first met at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and their narrative work has gone on to screen and win awards at festivals worldwide, including SXSW, Oaxaca Film Festival, Comic Con, Sarasota Film Festival, and more. Their commercial and fashion film work has been premiered in Vogue, i-D Magazine, Rolling Stone, Nowness and elsewhere.
