Two and a half years after coming into existence, and hosting numerous music videos and commercials, East London Studios is investing in further development in the coming year.

The studios, based in Leyton in East London, have proved popular with music video productions, and have been the venue for ambitious promo productions this year for the likes of Skepta's Hypocrisy (above), Kasabian, Marmozets' Play, The Vamps, Zara larsson and The Amazons' Ultraviolet. These and other productions have shot on the studios' huge 6000 sq. ft. Black Stage, or 50 ft. wide infinity cove.

Now East London Studios' management team are investing in their existing film and lighting equipment to improve their rental potential, and looking at the possibility of increasing their studio space.

Filmmakers can currently source high-end lighting and film equipment, experienced and pleasant crew, industry grade scissor lift, and a resourceful stock of art department services, under the one roof at East London Studios. They can also hire specialised lighting and camera vans for location shoots.

The studio site also contains a comfortable green room, a make-up room, and production office space.

The ELS Team say that the the demand for their services has led to compelling conversations about development and expansion at East London Studios, and the decision to invest in more film and lighting equipment in the coming year.

"We are astounded by how great the film community has been, in particular the music promo world. In fact we have exceeded our ideas of demand, and fast approaching the need for a new home. People now see us as a ONE STOP SHOP for high level film and video production. They see the value of turning up and everything from Arri Sky Panels to Arri Alexa Minis being prepped on the stage ready to for filming."
