CAMERIMAGE, the International Film Festival Of the Art of Cinematography, returns with its 25th annual event this November, and the festival is now open for submissions to its Music Videos competition.
Once again Camerimage is accepting music video entries from around the world to its two prestigious awards, Best Cinematography in a Music Video, and Best Music Video. The deadline for entries is 31st July 2017, with the nominations announced by 3rd October. The festival itself will be held in Bydgoszcz, Poland between 11th and 18th November.Â
Entries chosen in the Official Selection at Camerimage will be screened on the main screen of Opera Nova, the festival's centre. Then the winners will be chosen by an international jury comprising film and music industry professionals. Last year's Music Videos competition jury chaired by director Mike Figgis, and including cinematographers Simon Duggan, Markus Förderer and John Perez, and Promonews' David Knight, chose Massive Attack's Voodoo In My Blood as Best Music Video, with Mykki Blanco's Highschool Never Ends winning Best Cinematography In A Music Video.Â
