Martin Roker has been appointed the new head of Black Dog Films in the UK.

With over ten year's experience in British music videos, Roker has been director's representative at the music video division of RSA Films in London for the last four years. Prior to that he had six years in styling for music videos - and in his early days worked as head runner at RSA.

In the last few months, Roker has been in effective charge of Black Dog, following the departure of previous head/executive producer Katie Dolan to Caviar. In that time, he has overseen music videos for Alt-J's In Cold Blood (directed by Caspar Balslev), Nothing But Thieves' Amsterdam (Thomas James) and Amber Mark's Monsoon (Joe Alexander). Now his appointment as the company's head has been confirmed.

“I love RSA Films / Black Dog," says Roker. "I’ve spent a lot of time getting to know this company inside and out and was thrilled when I got the chance to be the head. I’m already so excited by the quality of work this year and we've got much more to come.”
