MusicVidFest, the conference for everyone in the business of music video creativity, returns to the BFI Southbank in London, on November 9th.

That means a whole day of talks, presentations and panel sessions on the issues surrounding music video making, with contributions from all sides of the industry - including directors, producers, DoPs, editors, commissioners and artists - looking at things as they are now, and how things might change in the next year.

Everything will up for discussion, including trends in music video creativity, in-depth looks at how some of the biggest videos of the year were made, music video distribution and the importance of Apple Music, the role of the cinematographer, opportunities for women in music videos, and the phenomenon of the 'canned' music video.

The past two MusicVidFest events have seen keynote speeches by top US director Joseph Kahn, and Sony Music VP and head of video Mike O'Keefe. Contributors to panels have included M.I.A, Roisin Murphy and Basement Jaxx's Felix Buxton.

Procam and giffgaff are already on board as partners for this year's MusicVidFest. Earlybird tickets for this year's event, held at the BFI Southbank in London on Wednesday November 9th, are available now at the MusicVidFest website.
