Ryan Patrick joins MindsEye in the UK
Ryan Patrick, whose recent work includes the video for Tesla Boy's Nothing, has now joined MindsEye for representation for music videos and commercials in the UK.
A two-time nominee at the Cannes Young Director Award, Ryan Patrick (above) has directed music videos for Cut Copy, Miike Snow, Tesla Boy, B.o.B, 2 Chainz, Joel Compass, Wiz Khalifa and The Weeknd. He has also directed commercials for brands like Microsoft, The New York State Lottery, Wendy’s, and Popeye’s Chicken.
Patrick’s recent music video for Tesla Boy - an example of his offbeat but very entertaining narrative work – was awarded a Vimeo Staff Pick. He has also just finished shooting the prequel to this video for the same band.
On joining the London-based production company, who have Luke Bellis, Ben Taylor, Charlie Phillips and Julian Barratt among the directors on their roster, Ryan Patrick has said: "I teamed up with MindsEye because they have a distinctive brand and an eye for great talent – just look at their roster! Not to mention, they’re just fun people to share a pint or four with. I am really excited to start creating with their team!”
