UK Music Video Awards 2016: The Mill sponsor Best Interactive Video award at UKMVAs
Top international post production studio The Mill is partnering with the UK Music Video Awards, sponsoring the Best Interactive Video award at this year's UKMVAs. It is the second year running that The Mill has become a partner of the UK Music Video Awards, the first time sponsoring the award that celebrates the best work in interactive videos - including the growing number of Immersive and Virtual Reality experiences.
With studios in London, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, The Mill is the home of world-class facilities and talent in VFX, animation, and colour grading, applying their expertise to everything from blockbuster features to music videos. Recent music-related projects at the company include VFX work on the videos for The Chemical Brothers' Wide Open and Massive Attack's Come Near Me, colour work on MØ's Final Song and Dua Lipa's Blow Your Mind, and the 4K remastering of Oasis's D'You Know What I Mean.
The Mill also has a growing reputation in Immersive and VR work, including work for Jack Daniels, New York Times, BBC Worldwide and for beatboxer Reeps One. Darren O’Kelly, MD of The Mill London, says the company is very pleased to be teaming up with the UK Music Video Awards, and sponsoring the Best Interactive Video award.
