UK Music Video Awards 2016: tickets go on sale as first round judging continues
The box office for the UK Music Video Awards 2016, which takes place at the legendary Roundhouse on October 20th, will open tomorrow (August 26th).
Booking tables at the biggest celebration of the year for music video creativity in the UK and beyond will be possible, via the UKMVA website, including attendance of the ceremony itself and the aftershow party.
Meanwhile, the first round of judging at this year's UKMVAs continues, with hundreds of Jury Members assigned to vote on a specific categories in the video and technical achievement categories. Jury Members have until Thursday September 1st to make their choices from the entries in their category, which they would like to be considered for the second and final round of judging, which begins in the first full week of September.
Furthermore, voting is now open on the five Individual categories: Best Director, Best New Director, Best Producer, Best Commissioner and Best Artist. All Jury Members are entitled to vote in the Individual award categories, where entrants are judged upon their body of work over the past 12 months rather than a single video.
As with the Best Video and Technical Achievement categories, Jury Members are requested to go to the judging platform on the UKMVA website, use their personal login to access the entries in the five Individual categories, and watch the videos they have been entered for. Jury Members are able to vote for one individual only in each of the Individual categories, and have until September 13th to make their selections in those categories.
So, at last - it's showtime!
