"Thanks for helping make the last five years some of the best I've experienced and good luck to you all," he said to his former colleagues. "It's a 'see you later' as I'm setting up shop as a freelance video commissioner so I'll be seeing a lot more of you other music and film people as the year goes on. Thanks for the good times!!!!"

James Tettey will be succeeded as head of music video as Colonel Blimp by Richard Grewe. Paul Weston, executive producer at Colonel Blimp, says: "We all love Nathan and he is going to be very much missed here at Colonel Blimp, though we will all still work with him of course as a commissioner.

"Stepping into Nathan’s shoes we are very excited to have Richard Grewe now working with us as head of music video. Rich comes to the role with a fresh enthusiasm and we are all really excited to have him on board."
