Somesuch sign Crystal Moselle and Dear Mr Quistgaard
Somesuch have added two new directors to their roster for representation for commercials and music videos: acclaimed New York documentary director Crystal Moselle, and British director Dear Mr Quistgaard.
Moselle is a New York-based director best known for her documentary The Wolfpack (above), about reclusive, movie-obsessed New York brothers, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Festival. She has created short-form work for Vice and The New York Times, where she created a series 'Something Big, Something Small' featuring talent such as Pharrell Williams and Shepard Fairey. Moselle is also a regular contributor for Nowness, creating original work including viral sensation, "Shapeshifting," on a pack of 14-year-old ballerinas.
London-based Dear Mr Quistgaard started out as a design studio before moving into film. DMQ is behind the experimental history/drama and electronic music video Radical Hardcore - featuring Objekt's Ratchet - as well as short doc series Stories Without Endings and Duck In The Dojo.
