Entry is now open to a new awards show, the Radar Awards, set up by Radar Music Videos, leaders in online music video commissioning, to recognise and honour the best emerging directors, and celebrate emerging bands and artists who commission them. 

Emerging, unsigned music video directors are welcome to enter the Radar Awards - to be held at the exclusive YouTube Spaces in London on July 14th 2016 – in categories that range from 'Best concept' and 'Best characters' to 'Best live' and 'Best VFX'.

The Radar Awards is supported by Promo News, which will be giving coverage to the winning music video directors. The overall winner is also rewarded with automatic entry for their work to the UK Music Video Awards - the most prestigious music video industry awards show worldwide - held later in the year. 

Category winners can also expect to receive internships & mentorships with leading production companies, including Pulse Films, Partizan, Somesuch, My Accomplice, Kode and Wanda.

Entrants do not have to be members of Radar or have made a Radar-commissioned video, but must pass the eligibility rule on being an emerging director. More information and entry costs and deadlines here. Submit to the awards here.
