Award-winning British director Dawn Shadforth has signed to Somesuch for music videos and commercials.

With a directing career going back to the late Nineties, when she burst through with her work for All Seeing Eye, she has been regarded as one of the UK's finest music video directors, her iconic video for Kylie Minogue's Can't Get You Out Of My Head winning Video of the Year at the CADS in 2001.

Since then she has directed acclaimed pop promos for the likes of Björk, Florence and the Machine, Oasis, Selena Gomez, and made a triumphant return to the medium with her video for Hurts' Lights (above) and its follow-up for Wings late last year. And as a commercials director, she has recently worked with brands including Saatchi & Saatchi, Nike, Renault, H&M and Dulux.   

Her first project at Somesuch is a video for the first single from the new Metronomy album. Somesuch co-founder Tim Nash says “I’ve always been such a big fan of Dawn’s work so I’m really excited to finally get the chance to work with her."
