10 videos have been nominated for British Artist Video Of The Year at this year's BRIT Awards, with one video being voted off the shortlist every week, talent-show style, by public Twitter vote every week for the next five weeks.

The remaining five videos will comprise the final nominations list - and the winner then decided by social media vote during the live TV broadcast of the BRIT awards on February 24th.

One Direction have owned this category for the past two years, being able to call upon their huge fanbase to vote them in as winners, and are back among the nominees with Drag Me Down. Here are the 10 nominations:

One Direction - Drag Me Down (Dir: Ben & Gabe Turner; Sony Music)
Sam Smith - Writing's On The Wall (Dir: Luke Monaghan; Riff Raff Films; Capitol Records)
Years & Years - King   (Dir: Nadia Marquard Otzen; Academy Films; Polydor)

The cutoff time for the first vote will be at midday on Friday, January 22nd, withth the first 'eviction' from the nomination list happening shortly after that. You can take a look at the leaderboard and take part in the Twitter vote here
