Pablo Maestres, the director from Barcelona whose video for Fur Voice's Fantasia (above) garnered three nominations at the UK Music Video Awards last month, has now joined the roster at FRIEND in London for music videos and commercials. 

Pablo began working as a photographer in the Barcelona music scene and quickly moved into making music videos for local bands. His first Fur Voice music video for All That was shortlisted for the Young Director Award in Cannes and his fashion film for Delpozo was selected by Business of Fashion as one of the best fashion films of the year. He also won best music video at Spain's music clip festival in 2012 for his video for Be Brave Benjamin's Devil Fool. 

Maestres, who is with Primo in Spain for commercials and Troopers in France for promos and commercials, arrives at FRIEND at the same time that Luke Tierney also joins the company as the new head of music video. Founder of the music video blog Word Is Cheap, Tierney has spent the past year as assistant commercials rep at OB Management.
