Jack Singer graduates to full editor role at Cut+Run
David Knight - 19th Nov 2015
Following a year in which he has established himself with his work on a number of promos and commercials, Jack Singer has been promoted to the role of full editor at Cut+Run in London.
Having risen through the ranks at the edit house, Singer's graduation to full editorship follows Cut+Run's avowed aim to bring through 'home-grown talent'. In the past year he has built a portfolio of work which includes commercials for Nike, Ford and the coveted 2015 Baileys Christmas Campaign, as well as promos Bloc Party, Tourist and Sigala, through C+R's Promos+Content division.
“Jack, the man in black, has modestly and superbly made his way to full editor," says Cut+Run editor and partner, Ben Campbell of Singer, who has been with the company for seven years. "Assisting can be a long hard road, but I never heard a negative word from him. His quiet dedication to his craft and strength of personality make him stand out from the crowd.”
Cut+Run’s MD Toby Abbott added: “I’m very excited about Jack and his future at Cut+Run. He’s already proved himself to be one of London’s top new editing talents with his beautifully rhythmical editing style and is a joy to spend time with.”
