Martin Coppen to receive Outstanding Achievement award at Camerimage
Legendary British DoP Martin Coppen will be this year's recipient of the Camerimage Award for Outstanding Achievements in the Field of Music Videos, at the 22nd Camerimage Festival, which begins this Saturday, 14th November.
Martin Coppen's distinctive cinematography has graced music videos for Metallica, Duran Duran, Oasis, Jack White, Marilyn Manson, 30 Seconds To Mars, Destiny’s Child, Jessie J, Lenny Kravitz and many more.
He will be the honorary guest of Camerimage Festival, and also the Jury Chairman of this year’s Music Videos Competition. And he will also present some of his best music videos and share his experience during the next instalment of “Music Videos: The Master Class Series” program, next Wednesday, November 18th at 21.30.
Camerimage, celebrating the art of cinematography, takes place in Bydgoczsz, Poland from 14th to 21st November 2015, with a screening of the Music Videos Competition entries at the Opera Nova on Thursday, November 19th at 17.15. Judging follows for two awards: Best Cinematography in a Music Video and Best Music Video.
