CHEAT is the latest company to become a partner at the UK Music Video Awards 2015, with the East London-based studio sponsoring the award for Best Colour Grading In A Video at the MVAs on November 5th.

CHEAT, launched by colourist Toby Tomkins a year ago - it was TJTFilm for three years before that – is a boutique colour grading and finishing studio with experience in all forms of content from feature films to music videos. Numerous music videos have been graded there since its launch, including promos for George Ezra, Stealing Sheep, Django Django, Izzy Bizu and Frank Turner. The studio is also expanding, with a second suite open by the end of October - with Joseph Bicknell joining the company as the second colourist - and a third suite ready in late November.

"CHEAT is delighted to be sponsoring the UKMVAS," says Toby Tomkins. "Music videos form the backbone of our history and experience as a grading company and without them we probably wouldn't be here, so it's lovely to give something back. This is a great opportunity to show we are invested in forming meaningful relationships with production companies, directors and cinematographers and the rest of the community that work on music videos.

"We are sponsoring the best grading category because we are always delighted to see this as a category at a festival or awards. We would like to extend our best wishes to the nominees and we hope to join you in the future."

Nominations for the Best Colour Grading in a Video, and all the other categories for UK Music Video Awards 2015 have been announced. The UKMVAs ceremony and aftershow is taking place at the legendary Roundhouse on Thursday November 5th, and tickets to the ceremony and aftershow are on sale now.
