Friends rally to help Toby Stretch following accident
A Go Fund Me page has been established to help pay for medical expenses for the Philadelphia-based artist, filmmaker and animator Toby Stretch, following a bad accident on September 24th left him with a shattered collarbone - and has raised over $5,000 in two days.
The creator of hugely inventive videos for the likes of Radiohead, Post War Years, Christopher Bono and more, has been unable to get the medical assistance he needs for his painful injury, due to his lack of appropriate medical insurance. His friend Kelsey Guerra set up the Go Fund Me page on September 25th, looking to raise $15,000 to go towards Toby Stretch's necessary treatment, which by this afternoon (on September 28th) has already reached more than a third of its target.
