Directing duo AlexandLiane have ended their extended period without a production company home by joining Riff Raff in London for music videos and commercials, coinciding with their move back to the UK.  

The couple, previously based in Berlin, have built their reputation on dynamic music videos for an array of artists including Hercules and Love Affair, Scissor Sisters, Cheryl Cole and Tiga (above), and commercials for brands such as Nike and Mercedes as well as working with many fashion brands.    

Alex Large and Liane Sommers - who met as teenagers in Nottingham and have been working together ever since – have commented: “We are very happy to now be part of the Riff Raff family. It’s been a while since we’ve chosen to be repped but this feels right. We like the way they think, the work they do and their taste in shoes.”

Having made their first video for a while earlier this year for Hercules and Love Affair's Do You Feel The Same, AlexandLiane say they are very keen to apply their visual ideas and aesthetic to making more videos. “We like music and making pictures for music. That’s why we make music videos.”

In regards to the signing, Riff Raff Films' sales EP Barney Richard said, “I’ve wanted to work with AlexandLiane for quite some time now and finally everything has coalesced at the right moment. They’re smart, multifaceted, energetic and forward-thinking people, and they’re also two of the loveliest homo sapiens around.
