MusicVidFest, the UK music video conference that began its second season of seminars on issues surrounding music videos earlier this month, returns on June 9th with a panel discussion examining the role of music video producers.

With the slightly irreverent title of Holding Out For A Hero, the event will provide a forum to discuss the skills and attributes required to be a good music video producer, and some of the UK industry's leading lights in music video production will be on the panel to answer questions, and tell some war stories.

The panel, which takes place at the Roundhouse Studio Theatre in London, includes Amber Millington (producer and executive producer at Agile Films), Sarah Boardman (producer/executive producer at Riff Raff Films), and Sonya Sier (freelance producer). David Knight (Promo News, BUG, etc) will moderate the discussion.

It's the second of a series of seminars presented by MusicVidFest – in collaboration with Hiive, the professional network for creative people – to share ideas, provide inspiration and develop networking opportunities for the music video industry.

The session will take place on June 9th, from 7pm. Find out more here, and buy tickets for the event here.
