Nordic Music Video Awards 2015 and Symposium on May 23rd
The second annual Nordic Music Video Awards takes place in Oslo next Saturday, May 23rd - nominations for 8 of the 9 awards handed out at the ceremony can be viewed at nmva.tv - preceded by an in-depth seminar on the creation, consumption and financing of music videos, at the first NMVA Symposium.
Speakers at the Symposium include Svana Gisla, former executive producer at Black Dog Films in London, and David Knight, editor/publisher of Promo News and editorial director of the UK Music Video Awards. Also attending are creative director at Oulu music video festival Otto Kylmälä, Anna Hildur from Nomex and several of the nominated directors, who will share what they consider to be artistic quality in music videos.
The Symposium starts at 1pm at HvaSkjer in Oslo, next to Cosmopolite cinema where the NMVA awards ceremony will be taking place. Tickets for the Symposium, and for the Nordic Music Video Awards show - both on May 23rd – are available here.
