Brooklyn-based production company and design studio Pomp&Clout - the home of director Ryan Staake – has expanded into a full service production company, signing two New York-based directors, Anthony Sylvester and Jay Buim, for music videos.
Anthony Sylvester's extensive work with independent label GODMODE has resulted in a wealth of eclectic clips, culminating with his recent collaborations with Las Vegas’ own Shamir on Darker and On The Regular.
Jay Buim has worked both in longform documentary – his feature debut about the American DIY music scene Todd P Goes to Austin (2009) screened at festivals worldwide – and shortform promos and commercials. He has directed several videos for Baltimore trio Future Islands, including for their breakthrough hit Seasons (Waiting On You) (above).
Anthony and Jay join Ryan Staake on a growing roster supported by the talented in-house team of designers, VFX artists, and technologists at Pomp&Clout, helmed by Staake and creative director Aaron Vinton.
