Up-and-coming director and animator Abbie Stephens, creator of inventive videos for George The Poet, All We Are and others, has been signed to Colonel Blimp for music video and commercial representation.

Having started directing while studying graphic design at Central Saint Martins in London, Abbie has established herself in the past two years, since her first commissioned works for Jimpster, followed by a sultry, ultra-retro number for Temples' Keep In The Dark, that was all glamour shots, smoke and mirrors.

Since then she has already earned UKMVA, International Fashion Film and British Animation Award nominations. 

Last year she came into her own, directing stand-out videos for All We Are's Keep Me Alive (above), in which she created surreal, parallel universes with mirrors and picture frames as portals. Before that, she paired up with George The Poet for hugely watchable 1 2, 1 2 a poppy piece of work composed of bright primary colours and delightfully quirky choreography.

This year she has created a surreal teaser for Liverpool band Stealing Sheep's debut album .
