'That's A Wrap For Christmas', the fundraising party held in memory of Barry Wasserman last December has raised £10,500 for Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research

That's A Wrap organisers Rawdon de Fresnes, Von Adams, Steve Guidici of Island Studios and Barnaby Laws (pictured above, left to right) visited world-famous spinal injury hospital Stoke Mandeville last Saturday (February 7th) to present a cheque for £10,500 to Charlotte Minoprio of Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research (far right).

Rawdon de Fresnes has told Promo News that the presentation, nearly two months after the hugely successful event, had "signed, sealed and delivered the whole thing – it's put the cherry on the cake."

That's A Wrap For Christmas was held at Island Studios in West London on December 6th, and was attended 500 colleagues, friends and family of the legendary 1st AD who passed away last summer. Proceeds of the party were earmarked for the charity arm of Stoke Mandeville, where Barry spent time following a serious back injury sustained a few years some time before his death.

Rawdon adds that the success of That's A Wrap for Christmas was based on its support from the film crews who worked with Barry Wasserman on music videos, commercials and films over the years. "It was a crew celebration, and I want to thank you to everyone who attended the event, made donations and also donated their time and energy in memory of Barry."
