Style magazine Dazed's Vision department is celebrating the first anniversary of its Visionaries strand this week by premiering a series of four films by Kristoffer Borgli, BRTHR, DANIELS and Stereotactic.

The anniversary will see the release of a dance and performance film from Moscow-based Stereotactic featuring Jay-Z and Flying Lotus collaborator Storyboard P, a visual music film from BRTHR and original comedy from award-winning duo DANIELS.

And the Dazed Visionaries birthday week has kicked off with the autobiographical short by acclaimed Norwegian filmmaker and music video director Kristoffer Borgli. In Wherever I Look, I See Myself (above), Borgli makes a self-referential trip to a summer house in the Norwegian countryside, revealing a set of truths in a fictional world as he confronts a writer's block and ghosts of the past.

The last 12 months has seen over 50 Dazed Visionary films being released on the network, from James Franco, FKA Twigs, Warp x Tate, Matt Lambert, Focus Creeps, Richard Mosse, Mark Cousins, Becky & Joe, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Young Turks and Danielle Levitt and many more. The cult music scene documentary series Music Nation has also been acclaimed, and returns for its second series next month, to be broadcast on C4, and premiered at Copenhagen International Documentary Festival 2014 in November.

"It's insane to think it's been a year since video on Dazed launched," states Ravi Aramatunga, Head of Dazed Vision and Jennifer Byrne, Video Commissioning Editor. "We're immensely proud of what we've achieved in that time, with a slate of TV series for a range of broadcasters, some best in class advertising campaigns, but most importantly and dedicated cycle of experimental and forward facing video content on dazed digital.

"With more series, online video, TV and feature film announcements to follow, we're excited to shout about Dazed Vision one year in, and look forward to even more in the year to follow."

Ewan Jones Morris's marvellous single-shot video for Anna Meredith, uses an unorthodox method to shoot her band performing new song Paramour. It's from a moving train - a Lego train, that is.
