BUG Full Time Hobby at BFI Southbank tonight – with Alex Horne and Tunng's Mike Lindsay

David Knight - 13th Oct 2014

The BUG Full Time Hobby special takes place at the BFI Southbank tonight at 9pm - a retrospective of the music video output, of the British independent label that has been home to a diverse roster of artists including Tuung, The Leisure Society, White Denim, Erland & the Carnival, School of Seven Bells, Timber Timbre, Micah P Hinson and Fujiya & Miyagi.

Part of the label's 10th anniversary celebrations - it kicks off a week of live shows in London and elsewhere by Full Time Hobby artists – the show is hosted by the wonderful comedian Alex Horne (above), and there's also a special guest - Mike Lindsay of Tunng, who will come on stage to talk to Alex about his music, the label and his collaborations with directors such as Tom Haines and James Moore for his videos.

Also the winner of the BUG Full Time Hobby Music Video Challenge will be announced at tonight's show and shown at tonight's show as part of a programme of exceptional music videos. A few tickets are still available online, or from the BFI box office (tel. 020 7928 3232).
