IMD Fastrax – the premier distributor of new release music videos to the UK television industry – is once again partnering with the UK Music Video Awards, sponsoring the Best Commissioner prize at this year's event.

A returning sponsor of the UKMVAs, but after a break of a couple of years, Rupak Rahman, head of Fastrax, says he's delighted that the company are involved with the awards again this year. 

“IMD Fastrax are delighted to be back sponsoring the UK Music Video Awards 2014," says Rahman. "As the premier method of distribution of new release music video content in the UK and France, IMD Fastrax are honoured to be sponsoring the event that highlights the very best in creative talent in the industry.”  

Working with record labels and promotion teams, IMD Fastrax provides the latest music videos to TV companies across the board for broadcast and review purposes, via their fast, secure and cost effective digital distribution system.

The news comes just as the entry deadline has passed on submissions to over 30 categories the UK Music Video Awards 2014 - including Best Commissioner. The first round of judging begins a couple of weeks, with hundreds of music video professionals - all MVA Jury Members - taking part in the judging of all the entries to the awards via the MVA online judging platform.

After a second round of judging next month, the nominations for the UK Music Video Awards 2014 will be announced in early October ahead of the ceremony on Monday November 10th at the Southbank Centre in London. Tickets will be on sale soon - more information at the UK Music Video Awards website
