One week left to enter the D&AD next director award
There's just over one week left to enter the new D&AD Next Director Award, in partnership with YouTube.
The Next Director Award is a brand new award created to unearth the best new directorial talent. Any genre of film is eligible, including:
- Short films
- Music Videos
- TV commercials
- Web Films
- Branded Content
It can be an existing piece, or something you make especially for the D&AD Next Director Award – but entries must be no longer than five minutes in length.
The winner and nominees will get incredible exposure at international screenings and through the D&AD and YouTube platforms. And to top that, invaluable mentoring from some of the world’s top production companies – which, for the right candidate, could turn into on-shoot experience or representation.
The deadline for the first round of entries is Wednesday 25 June.
So if you’re an aspiring filmmaker with less than two years industry experience AND out of full-time education, then head over to the Award page to find out more.
Who knows, maybe you’re Next…
