Emile Sornin, whose acclaimed videos for Disclosure, Dizzee Rascal, Alt-J and others have made him one of the most exciting up-and-coming talents working in music videos, has now joined Riff Raff Films in London for representation for music video and advertising out of the UK.
The young French director's hugely inventive use of visual effects, and his love of British humour, has led Riff Raff to describe him as "the love child of Michel Gondry and the foot out of Monty Python."
After his videos for Cut Copy's Blink And You'll Miss A Revolution, Naive New Beaters' La Onda, Alt J's Fitzpleasure and Dizzee Rascal's I Don't Need A Reason, Emile received a Best New Director nomination at the 2013 UK Music Video Awards. He has since gone on to direct Disclosure's Grab Her video (pictured), and most recently, Jamaica's Two On Two.
While repped in the UK by Riff Raff, Emile also remains represented by Division in Paris outside of the UK.
