Emil Nava, the UK's most in-demand pop video director, is now partnering with his long-term agents OBmanagement to produce his music video output.

After a number of years at Pulse Films, where he has developed into one of the UK's top video directors with his promos for Jessie J, Example, Calvin Harris, Rita Ora, Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith and many others, Emil's move to OB for video production comes as he prepares to direct his first feature film later in the year.

OB founder Otis Bell says: "I’ve been friends with Emil since he started running on shoots at 17 years old.  He grew up on music video sets, and I always knew he was going to be hugely successful – it’s in his veins.  We’re really happy to be working even more closely at a time when he’s making his best work and has a bunch of great projects in production and due for release over the next few weeks." Bell adds that the plan to 'streamline' the director's music video output while prepping for his movie directing debut.

Nava – who will continue to collaborate with Pulse Films on other projects – has directed some of the most successful videos for British artists in the past five years, from Jessie J's Price Tag (he's made all of her videos) to Rita Ora's R.I.P. featuring Tinie Tempah, to last year's video for Calvin Harris's I Need Your Love featuring Ellie Goulding.
