Aoife McArdle, director of the MVA-winning video for Jon Hopkins' Open Eye Signal (above) and more acclaimed work, has joined Somesuch & Co for representation for music videos and commercials.

Originally a member of the directing collective Minivegas, Aoife's solo work has included videos for Little Comets - her video for The Isles won best music video at the Rushes Soho Shorts award for Best Music Video in 2011 – Anna Calvi, Simian Mobile Disco, Clock Opera and James Vincent McMorrow. 

Her regular collaborator Steve Annis won the award for Best Cinematography in a Video at the UK Music Video Awards last October for his work on her eight-minute video for Jon Hopkins' Open Eye Signal - a young man's epic, transcendent trip across the American West on his skateboard. She was previously represented by Colonel Blimp and Blink.
