Saman Kesh, the director of acclaimed videos for Placebo, Vitalic, Cinnamon Chasers, Russ Chimes and many more, and winner of two SXSW Best Video awards, has signed to Rokkit for music video representation in the UK.

The director formerly known as Saman Keshavarz stormed into the world of music videos with his video for Cinnamon Chasers' Luv Deluxe while still a film student in California, and has followed that up with a series of imaginative and ambitious videos in his distinctive high-octane action-packed style for Russ Chimes, !!!, Porter Robinson, dEus, Apparat, Ed Sheeran and Calvin Harris ft Example. 

Saman's lurid sci-fi comedy thriller for Vitalic's Stamina was nominated this year in Best Dance Video - International at the UK Music Video Awards 2013 and won Best Video at this year's SXSW film awards, the second time he's won the award following his win with Luv Deluxe in 2010.

His most recent video for Placebo's Too Many Friends - featuring narration by Bret Easton Ellis – has won plaudits and a screening at BUG for its imaginative dissection of an event at a party in the near-future, and  Saman also recently completed the already-acclaimed sci-fi short Controller, and is now signed up to direct his first feature in Hollywood next year.
