Passion Pictures signs Kirsten Lapore and Lucas Zanotto
Passion Pictures has announced the signing of Kirsten Lepore to their UK, European and US rosters, and Lucas Zanotto to their UK and US rosters
Kirsten is a director, designer and animator who was named one of the 50 most creative people of 2011 by Creativity Magazine and has gone on to work with clients including Google, MTV, Yo Gabba Gabba, Toyota and Nickelodeon amongst others.
Kirsten’s 2010 stop-motion short Bottle (pictured above) received the first ever Student Annie Award, as well as taking top prizes at Slamdance, Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart, Annecy, BAFTA LA Student Film Awards and the Vimeo Awards.
On signing with Passion she says, "I totally love and trust Passion's sensibility and am so looking forward to working together."

Lucas is an Italian animation director, predominantly mixed media in approach creating a modern, playful and analogue feel with his work. He has directed commercials for clients including O2 and Google as well as an array of short films. He's also designed and developed apps for iPhone and created films for the prestigious Saatchi Gallery.
Alongside picking up a Gold Lion at Cannes this year, his work has screened at acclaimed festivals including Pictoplasma, ITFS and the Ottawa Film Festival.
