There are now just two days left to enter work in most of the awards categories at the UK Music Video Awards 2013, the premiere awards show for music video creativity in Britain and beyond.

This includes fifteen Best Video awards, with each music genre – Pop, Dance, Indie/Rock, Alternative and Urban – each offering three awards: one for UK, international and budget videos. Here are all the Best Video categories at the UKMVAs 2013.

Each video can only be entered into one of the above categories. To be eligible for a UK award there must a significant contribution by a UK artist, director, producer or commissioner and/or commissioned by a UK record label.

To be eligible for an international award most of these key roles will be filled by non-UK individuals and the work commissioned by non-UK label.

To be eligible for a budget award, the video has to have been made for £2000 or its equivalent – and is open to UK and international submissions.

All Best Video entries will also be automatically entered into the Video of the Year award at this year's UKMVAs.

The final deadline to enter work is midnight BST, August 8th – this Thursday. Among the entries so far received, Best Pop_Budget, Best Dance_UK, Best Dance_Budget and Best Urban_UK are less well represented, so make sure that outstanding work in these areas of expertise has been entered for the MVA judges’ consideration before the deadline this Thursday.

The first round of judging for this year’s MVAs begins two weeks after the entry deadline – invitations to Jury Members to participate in the online judging round on the MVA judging platform will go out next week. And the UK Music Video Awards 2013 takes place at the Queen Elizabeth Hall at London's Southbank Centre on October 8th.
