Sarah Chatfield joins Black Dog for music videos in the US
Sarah Chatfield, director of music videos for Lily Allen, Kelly Rowland, The Saturdays, Lykke Li, Little Mix, Maverick Sabre and many more, has joined Black Dog Films for music video representation in the US.
Best known for her stylish work in pop videos, Sarah won best new director and best pop video, for her video for Lily Allen's Alfie, at the CAD Awards (the predecessor of the UK MVAs) in 2007, in the process to becoming one of the UK's most exportable music video directing talents, working on both sides of the Atlantic for the past few years - striking up a particular bond with Kelly Rowland over several videos.
In that time she has also become an in-demand director of fashion films for major fashion labels, working for Yves Saint Laurent, Alain Afflelou and House of Holland. And she is currently working on a new London Fashion Week commission.
Sarah has commented that she's thrilled to be joining Black Dog Films’ roster in the US, “because they are a trusted, high-quality company with solid history of putting out inspiring and award-winning work. Being a part of a company that has a focus on quality, as well as innovation and creativity is key for me.”
Her joining the company quickly follows news that Black Dog has gained 18 nominations for the upcoming 2013 MTV VMAs, more than any other production company.
Sarah was formerly with Rockhard in the US, and remains represented by Colonel Blimp in the UK for music videos and White Lodge for fashion film work.
