Here's our first Covid-19-related news round-up, as production companies, labels and freelancers start to adapt to remote working:
Wanda London has announced that it has merged with OneSix7 Productions, with OneSix7′s executive producer Abi Hodson now leading the new set-up.
In the new London office Abi Hodson is aiming to develop the company as an independent arm under the established and respected Wanda umbrella – the parent company is based in Paris – with a view to also attracting and developing some additional homegrown talent.
The Wanda London roster now includes Leila&Damien de Blinkk, James Lees and Scandinavian duo Frode&Marcus from the OneSix7 roster, alongside Wanda directors Wilfrid Brimo, Marco Gentile and Leo Woodhead.
In addition, Céline Roubaud, head of the music video department, manages several other highly regarded Paris-based directors that are available for UK commissions, including Thomas Rhazi, Cyrille De Vignemont, Jul & Mat, Thomas Tyman and J.A.C.K.
“London has been for years at the heart of our project,” says Wanda Group CEO Patrick Barbier. “We hope to build up with Onesix7 workforce and roster, an entity that is a creative reference in advertising and music video.”
