Bad Things That Could Happen - both made when Becky and Joe were part of multi-disciplinary collective THIS IS IT. They join the animation division of Blink Productions (and sister department to Colonel Blimp) in the wake of huge acclaim for their Tame Impala video for
Feels Like We Only Go Backwards (top right) – created by animating over 1000 hand-made plasticine collages. Individually, Becky and Joe have lent their talents to a diverse list of clients including Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Channel 4, BBC and Selfridges, as well as directing sequences in the new feature-length Graham Chapman biopic
A Liar's Autobiography. With
Don't Hug Me I'm Scared (bottom right), they pushed conventions of children's TV into offbeat and chaotic territory, which gained the film a cult following on the worlwide festival circuit, including at Sundance, Los Angeles Film Festival and SXSW, where it picked up the Midnight Shorts Best Film award in 2012.
