BBC Music Video Festival 2012 open for entries

David Knight - 21st May 2012

The BBC Music Video Festival 2012 is now open for submissions.

The BBC Music Video Festival 2012 is now open for submissions. The Festival is requesting music videos from artists and filmmakers which, if selected, will be included in the Festival either online, or at screening events during the autumn. The Festival is touring the UK, showing videos on the BBC's outdoor BigScreens in 22 town and city centres in September and October. It's also based at Fusion at the Forum in Norwich - Europe's largest permanent digital gallery - between September 10th and 29th. Furthermore, a series of Festival playlists comprised of submitted videos will be posted onto the BBC Music Video Festival page on the BBC website from early September onwards. "Last year, we featured videos from Europe, Canada and America, alongside new acts from the UK, including some breaking into the mainstream such as Rizzle Kicks and Dels," says Festival Producer, Gary Standley. "This year we hope to once again uncover some amazing unknown video gems and give them the coverage they deserve." Download the submission form here. The submission deadline is August 1st.
