UK Music Video Awards 2011 UPDATE: final days of first round judging!

David Knight - 12th Sept 2011

First round judging for many of the awards at the UK Music Video Awards 2011 has entered the final three days.

First round judging for many of the awards at the UK Music Video Awards 2011 has entered the final three days. Online judging of the all the entries in the music genre and technical achievement awards via the UKMVA judging platform must be completed this Wednesday (September 14th). So all MVA Jury Members who haven't yet voted are urged to go to the judging platform administered by Beam - using the log in details they were sent via email by the UK Music Video Awards team - as soon as possible. There they will be able view the videos in the one or two categories they have been allocated to judge, and then pick their six favourites from the complete list of entries in each category. The most popular selections in each category will then go on to the second round of judging, where panels of invited Jury Members will meet face-to-face to view those videos once more, vote and decide the award-winner. The second stage of judging begins next week, and then continues in the week of October 3rd when the awards for best music ad, live music coverage and the innovation award will also be judged. The UK Music Video Awards 2011 takes place at The Empire in Leicester Square, London on November 8th. For more information and for tickets, go to the www.ukmva.com.
