Having offered across-the-board creative marketing and branded content for music and entertainment companies for well over a decade - with all of the major labels among their client base - the move marks a return to music videos for Addiction after several years.

Carolyn Corben's eye for fashion and art direction is evidenced in videos for Girls Aloud, Shirley Bassey and Siouxsie Soux (she was formerly in directing partnership with Harvey B-Brown); Tim Fox specialises in VFX-heavy work for 'alternative' and heavy metal artists such as Akala, Skindred and Sikth; directing and writing partnership Alex Garcia and Wayne Yip have directed prestigious TV series Diary Of A Call Girl and Misfits, and started out in videos winning a competition for their video for Quasi and going on to direct videos for James Yorkston and Groove Armada's Drop The Tough.

Long-renowned for its music TV ads - recent campaigns include the new albums by Brother, Patrick Wolf, Dionne Broomfield, The Feeling and several ads for Lady Gaga - and branded digital content, design and artwork, Addiction Entertainment MD Myn Jazeel says that the new music video division offers the opportunity to increase the company's "360º full service offering" to the music and entertainment industries.

"We're also excited that through our sister agencies Addiction London, Addiction New York, Addiction Content and Addiction Innovation, we can offer brand collaborations for any artist or genre, and digital capability, all in-house."
