Somesuch & Co. have announced that they have signed Romain Gavras. Gavras comes to Somesuch & Co. through their strong relationship with Mourad Belkeddar in Paris.
Romain Gavras is based between Paris and London. His filmmaking came to everyone's attention with his extraordinary videos for Justice, Simian Mobile Disco, DJ Mehdi and MIA (which was banned on YouTube). In 2011 he completed the epic campaign for Adidas 'All In'.
Gavras has just released his first feature film Notre Jour Viendra or Our Day Will Come which he co-wrote and directed, starring Vincent Cassel. Gavras describes the film as a 'romantic comedy'.
Sally Campbell of Somesuch & Co. says:
'We believe Romain is one of the world's most talented and exciting filmmakers. He is a perfect fit within Somesuch & Co.'s roster. We are really looking forward to making something very exciting with him". Somesuch & Co. will represent Romain for the UK market.
The company have also announced the appointment of Tash Tan as Head Of Music.
