Final preparations are under way for the big awards and party night of the year for British music videos. The UK Music Video Awards 2010 will take place this evening at the ODEON West End in Leicester Square - hosted by outrageous comedian Rich Fulcher - followed by an aftershow party at Jewel in Piccadilly.
The evening will culminate in the award for Video of the Year - and there is also a very special honour: the Icon Award.
Following Jonathan Glazer and Dawn Shadforth - the previous two recipients of the UK MVAs Icon Award - another name will be added to the roll of honour of Icons, responsible for some of the most innovative, inspirational and best-loved music videos ever made.
Doors open at the ODEON at 7.30pm, with the show starting around 7.45pm. Jewel (at 4-6 Glasshouse St, just off Piccadilly Circus) will open its doors for the aftershow party at 9.15pm.
