UK Music Video Awards 2010: Rushes sponsors Best Producer award
David Knight - 7th Sept 2010
It's just been announced that Rushes Post Production is sponsoring the Best Producer award at the UK Music Video Awards 2010.
It's the third year in succession that Rushes - one of London's top post facilities, and organiser of the much-loved annual Rushes Soho Shorts Festival - has supported the MVAs by sponsoring the prize for Best Producer, reflecting the company's longstanding close ties with the British music video industry and community. One of the world's leading post production facilities for over three decades, offering the most up-to-date and comprehensive range of high-end creative services - including world-class colour grading, VFX, motion graphics and 3D/CGI - Rushes has been involved in the post production of thousands of music videos, including numerous classic vids, for well over twenty years.
"Rushes loves the MVAs and the team that puts the show together," says Rushes MD Joce Capper. "They love music videos and the craft of producing fantastic ideas as much we do. Great promos are in all our blood! Rushes are happy to sponsor the MVAs, to honour the genre and all those involved. And, best of all, the industry gets to celebrate and have fantastic evening. We wish all the nominees the best of luck."
Also judging panels to decide the winners of all the music genre, technical achievement, and other awards will sit over the next week, and invitations to attend are currently being sent out.
All the nominations for the UK Music Video Awards 2010 will be announced on Friday September 17th. The ceremony itself is on October 12th at the Odeon West End in Leicester Square in London - and the aftershow venue will be announced in the next few days too.
