Rushes Soho Shorts have announced the Official Selection for the 2010 Festival - including 30 music videos chosen for the Music Video competition.

Rushes Soho Shorts have announced the Official Selection for the 2010 Festival - including 30 music videos chosen for the Music Video competition. A full list of the selected videos can be viewed at the Soho Shorts <a href="http://www.sohoshorts.com/#/341" target="_blank">website</a>, together with a full list of all films in the competition. This year's festival will take place from 21st to 30th July, and 170 short films from 23 countries have been selected for competition. Production budgets range from £50 to $2.5million, coming from a range of filmmakers from newcomers and up-and-coming talent to long established professionals, and from individuals to large multinational studios. This year audiences will be able to vote for their favourite work at new official screenings. These will be joined by a further 55 screenings of guest curated work and 40 events which will be held throughout the 10 day period, 90% of which will be free for people to attend. Official screenings for the music video entries will take place at the ICA on Friday 23rd July and Sunday 25th July.
